Controls on this lens are easy to find without removing your eye from the finder. The tiger striped ring is for operating the diaphragm with the index mark visible above the number 4. Just below, the preset ring has it's unique cone shaped 'handle' while the rectangular button is used for rotating the barrel to select the most comfortable position for Exaktography. ;-)
