Schneider introduced this lens in 1963 in a variety of mounts. This individual dates to circa Dec. 1965/Jan. 1966 and carried a hefty price tag which deterred more than a few Exakta users from actually buying one, a factor that helped make this one of the rarer Exakta mount lenses.
